Wish-lists 2012

So here goes...tak ikut turutan ye. (^__^)

1.  Menyimpan lebih banyak emas fizikal (gold bar, dinar n barang kemas).

2.  Pass every subject with flying color.

3.  Jadi anak yang solehah.

4.  Saving some money untuk menunaikan umrah or hajj - InshaAllah.

5.  Bawak bekal sendiri ke office.

6.  Bersenam/exercise more.

7.  Jalani gaya hidup sihat @ menjaga kesihatan diri.

8.  Makan lebih banyak buahan & sayuran everyday.

9.  Turunkan at least 500g or 1kg every month. 

10. Banyakkan amalan bersedekah dan berpuasa sunat.

11. Banyakkan beribadah n solat malam - InshaAllah.

12. Banyakkan membaca Al-Quran.

13. Do the right thing.

14. Berjimat cermat dalam perbelanjaan.

15. Etc, etc, etc....nt saya update lagi ye.

Hmm, kalau dilihat dari lists kat atas kebanyakannya lebih kepada kesihatan & rohaniah.  I want to be a better person, not a bitter person.  Semoga Allah perkenankan dan permudahkan segala urusan saya dan anda semua bagi tahun 2012 dan tahun2 yang akan mendatang...aminnnnn.

Cervarix

Cervarix ni nama vaksin HPV yang saya ambil.  A few information about cervarix seperti di bawah;

Who should receive Cervarix?

• can be prescribed for girls and women aged 10-45 y.o
• the ideal time to vaccinate against HPV is prior to exposure to HPV therefore, before first sexual encounter
• if you're already infected with HPV at initiation of the vaccination course, cervarix is not expected to induce regression of the lesions and may not be able to protect you against the disease progression

Who should not receive Cervarix?

• anyone who is allergic to any of the ingredients in the vaccine
• has an allergic reaction after receiving a dose of the vaccine
• anyone who is pregnant

- signs of allergic reaction may include itchy skin rash, shortness of breath and swelling of the face or tongue.

How is Cervarix is given? 

It is given as an injection to the deltoids muscle of your upper arm and the doses are given as;

• First dose :  at a date you and your doctor decide
• Second dose :  1 month after the first dose
• Third dose :  6 months after the first dose

Other important information

• if you miss a dose, consult your doctor and he will decide when to give the missed dose
• Cervarix will not protect against diseases that are not caused cancer causing HPV
• women who become pregnant before completion of the 3-dose schedule should complete their vaccination schedule after birth
• women who receive cervarix should continue to undergo cervical cancer screening as recommended by doctor

Kenapa saya ambil vaksin HPV?

Kenapa saya ambil vaksin HPV? Ramai yang tidak bersetuju ttg pengambilan vaksin ni.  Bagi saya mudah sahaja, for health purposes @ langkah berjaga2.  Mcm suntikan BCG, dan yang lain2 tu la.  Sebagai langkah pencegahan.  Ya betul, kalu kita mengamalkan cara hidup yang sihat n menjaga diri sendiri - tidak mengamalkan seks bebas, use condom, tidak merokok, dsbg nya - inshaAllah kita akan terhindar dari kanser serviks ni.  

Persoalan nye sekarang, adakah my future partner tidak membawa virus ini??  Atas dasar itu lah saya tidak teragak2 untuk disuntik dengan vaksin HPV.  Adakah kita pasti bahawa jodoh kita bukan dengan suami org, duda?  kalu dengan duda, sudah berapa kali kah dia pernah berkahwin sebelum ini, adakah  bekas pasangan nya ada membawa virus HPV?? hmmm, ajal maut jodoh semua di tangan tuhan....tp tak salah kan kalu kita berusaha untuk mencegah.  Terpulang pada diri masing2.  =)

What is HPV?

HPV @ Human papillomavirus is a common virus which affects human.  More than 100 types of HPV have been identifed, most of which are harmless.  About 30 types are spread through sexual contact, of which some types can cause visible genital warts, while others can cause cervical cancer and other genital cancers.  Type 16 n 18 cause cervical cancer.  

What is the relation between HPV and cervical cancer?

Most HPV infections occur without any symptoms and will go away without any treatment over the course of a few months.  However, in some cases, the infection can persist leading the risk of progression to cervical cancer.  This process can take more than ten years. 

This virus can be spread without women knowing it because cancer causing HPV infection is not commonly associated with any sign or symptoms.

How is HPV is transmitted?

• Through genital skin to skin contact. (sharing public toilet, etc)
• Any woman, regardless of her age or lifestyle.
• Sexual intercourse is not necessary to become infected.
• Women who smoke are 2 times at risk than non-smoker.
• Sexual transmitted Infections (STI) 
• The risk of HPV infection starts from the first sexual encounter and lasts throughout a woman's life.  

Prevention is better than cure.

• Regular pap-smear testing to look for early signs of the disease.  Pap-smear is a quick and simple test to find abnormal cells at the surface of the cervix.
• Condom reduce the risk but are not fully protective.
• Vaccination - the immune system (the body's natural defence system) will make antibodies against HPV.  
• Sex education at school.

Adehhh...gatal nye!! =(

Tak tahannnn!! Badan sangat2 GATAL!!! Kegatalan berlaku setelah i had my lunch yesterday.  Had nasi putih + ikan pari w air asam.  Ikan pari tu nmpk mcm ok, bila da makan baru rasa mcm tak bp fresh.  Haaaa, pastu la start gatal2 sampai le ke hari ni.  Tak kan nak menggaru-garu sambil buat keja kan, mcm tak senonoh je gayanya.   Huhuhuhu, smlm kat kelas lagi lah mcm buang tebiat, dok menggaru sana sini.   Helppppp!!!! =(

Skrg tgh menahan nafsu untuk tidak MENGGARU.  

ARRRGGGGHHHHHH

Puasa nazar

Arini saya berpuasa nazar.  Saya berniat dan bernazar untuk berpuasa 3 hari jika adik saya sembuh dan sihat.  Baru2 ni adik lelaki saya kena kuarantin sbb disyaki demam yg disebabkan oleh virus kencing tikus...sangat2 sedih dan agak keliru.  Adik saya sebenarnya tengah berkursus bila dia jatuh sakit n demam.  Adalah dekat 7 hari dia kena kuarantin kat asrama.  So, saya bernazar jika adik saya sihat n pulih seperti sediakala, inshaAllah saya akan berpuasa selama 3 hari. 

Alhamdulillah, Allah telah kabulkan permintaan hamba Nya ini.  Adik saya telah disahkan sihat dan telah dikeluarkan dari tempat kuarantin.  Rupanya mak saya jugak telah bernazar untuk berpuasa.

Presentation skills?

Adoyai..kepala byk pusing nak menyiapkan assignment BEL 492 nih.  Madam asked us to write a preparation outline and the deadline is TODAY!!!  Last week dah berjaya berlagak seperti seorang lecturer yang tak berlesen..kikikiki (kena present kat depan kelas n kengkawan).  The 2nd presentation tak tau lagi bila??  Hmm... (- __-)"

My first assignment is about road accidents in Malaysia - the major causes n how changing our habit may save life.  Saya sangat suka dengan topic ni.  Don't text/sms and drive!!  Bahaya tau.  

The 2nd assignment saya suka nak share dengan semua what is HPV and it relation to cervical cancer.  Agak tak sabar sebenarnya nak share all the information dengan kengkawan. *wink-wink*  Nt kalu ada 'masa', saya akan share kat blog ni ye...btw, saya pernah cerita pasal HPV injection before, kan?  Nt saya sambung ye cerita tu okeh?  Till then, daaaaa....

Food poisoning =(

Hey u...im just recovering from food poisoning, sgt tak larat!!  Setakat ceri-beri tu saya okeh lagi, tp kalu bab2 muntah-muntah ni, aiyohhhh....semua menda yang ditelan, dikeluarkan semula.  At the end, minum air je lah yang boleh.  Had to go to KL, jadi sepanjang perjalanan saya terbaring jeh kat sit belakang.  Sampai di KL, rasa da ok skit.  Maybe seronok sbb wat surprised bday for my mak and jumpa adik-beradik yg dok di KL.  But in the morning, start sakit semula.  Muntah-muntah n ceri-beri.  Patut balik pahang ari ahad, tp my bro tak bagi balik n bwk saya ke klinik.  Terbaring je dalam bilik sbb tak larat.  

Tp sekarang, saya sudah sihat!! yeay!!  Sudah boleh makan macam-macam..hahahaha...sgt gumbira.  Doakan semoga saya sentiasa sihat ye. (^__^) 

Tua

Sudah tua?? tidakkkkk...tp kenapa skrg asyik kepenatan jeh...=(

Masa amik diploma aritu, tak lah rasa sepenat ini weh!! hmmm...tp masa tu agak muda remaja lagi...wah!! *perasan*...

Kelas start malam, balik umah sudah tentu lewatttt malammmm..used to this kind of situation before...tp sekarang sudah tidak larat rasa nyaaa...huhuhu....mungkin kah??

hehehe...barang yg ditunggu-tunggu sudah sampai jugak akhirnya!! Saya sangat gumbira...=)

Suntikan vaksin HPV

Hmmm...perlukah? Iklan tv skrg ni byk promote ttg suntikan HPV ni....saya pulak dpt info ttg this vaccine semasa menghadiri ceramah kanser serviks di opis.  Samada hendak menerima atau tidak vaksin ini, terpulang kepada setiap individu untuk menilai ye...for additional info-cervical cancer is the 2nd most common cancer affecting Malaysian women, after breast cancer... *sigh* =(

Saya telah pun menerima suntikan yg pertama last week (22/12/2010)...kena amik 3 kali ye within 6 months.  Dah lama tak kena suntik, so rasa agak berdebar2 la bila tgk jarum tuh....sakit tak? of course la kalu kena suntik ngan jarum rasa sakit kan...mana ada org kata sedappppp kalu kena suntik!! =)

Kena suntik di bahu ye....bukan di tempat lain, LOL!! Ada member yg tak nak ambil sebab bila kata serviks, derang terus terpikir kan kena suntik kat 'situ'...so funny...hahaha...nt saya cite ye kenapa saya ambil vaksin ni...
